Abu-Aisheh Engineering formerly known as AK Controls was established in 1993 In England Brighton, activities then was, designing and coding PC based software for special precision testing applications, when a suitable standards software were not available, design was based on Pico technology Data acquisitions and software drivers. While working on Pico products between 1993 – 2000, products proved to be very reliable, flexible, yet offered at a reasonable price, hence AK controls decided to base all data acquisition and logging solutions on Pico products, while doing a middle east market research for Data acquisition market place, found very few companies work in this area an a large demands by universities, hospitals, science research centre and laboratories, for Pico technology products. A new branch for AK control was opened in Amman Jordan, in November 2000 to provide Middle East industries and Universities PC based test, measurement, monitoring and control using solutions based on Data acquisition and data loggers from Pico technology, distribution agreement was reached with Pico technology for all Arabic speaking countries, the company activity moved to Jordan, the name was changed to Abu-Aisheh engineering to meet local regulations.
Abu-Aisheh Engineering now provides a wide range of respectable clients across the Middle East with data acquisitions, loggers, PC based oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, PC based precision measurement (flow, pressure temperature, Humidity, current, voltage, PH conductivity, oxygen, two many to list), Early warning smokes and gas detection.
Solutions starts from a very basic PC Based sensor Educational trainer kit for schools at a very low cost, ($199), modernizing universities labs with state of the are PC based test and measurement, industrial PC precision dispensing systems, temperature and humidity stand alone data loggers to meet certain regulations or maintain quality, provide advance research and development centers with PC based test and measurements solutions.
Pico technology is a British company based in Cambridge England manufacture Implacably reliable, high quality data acquisition, data loggers, PC Scopes and spectrum analyzers which can connect to sensors to measure any thing, for example temperature humidity, light, current, pressure, flow, liquid level PH, conductivity, turbidity, oxygen level, liquid level, acceleration, sun radiating, wind speed and direction it measures all standard sensors, simply you have to specify what you need to measure or control, if sensors or software are not available from Pico technology we find the right sensors from a third party high quality manufacturer and use Pico software drivers to write a software to meet the client requirement,
Although we said Pico products can be utilized to measure any thing we still receive many inquiries asking us if Pico can accept a particular sensor, simply regardless of the application, Pico Data acquisition system can measure, analyses, log and display on a form of spreadsheet and graph the output of any sensor, any quantity needs to be measured will have to have a suitable sensor for it, the sensor varies to suit applications for example if you need to measure flow, you might be wanting to measure low flow 1 mm/m or high flow 1000L/s, quantity is irrelevant for the system, it simply look for the output and scales it, the hardware choice would be on the sensor output type (pulse, Voltage, current) the accuracy required will be decided by selecting the accuracy of the sensor and the number of bit (resolution) of Pico analogue to digital converters 8 to 24 bits are available,

ICAM Manufacture high sensitivity gas and smoke detection analyzers to protect lives and Electronic equipments and important assets from fire risks, for examples in date centre, servers rooms, museums, libraries, prisons, police stations, manufacturing areas, wide open areas were smoke get diluted, the system samples air from protected areas, it can even detect 0.001% obscuration (obscuration what obstruct your vision for example a wall will cause 100% obscuration while cigarette smoke cause 0.15% obscuration) which can be caused by overload or faulty server fan, conventional fire detector can only detect smoke level above 3% obscuration which would be mostly a result of a fire.
